Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ProEdge ("ProEdge", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the ProEdge application at https://app.proedge.tools and the website at https://www.proedge.tools (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What ProEdge is (and is not)
ProEdge is an educational training tool for blackjack strategy. It provides simulated practice hands, graded decisions, scored challenges, and a private journal for recording sessions you have played elsewhere.
ProEdge is not a gambling service. The Service does not accept, place, or facilitate wagers; it involves no real-money play and pays out no winnings. Nothing in the Service is a promise or prediction of gambling results.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old (and of legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are personal: one account per person, and access may not be shared or resold.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- The Service requires a paid subscription: $9.99 per month or $99 per year (plus any applicable taxes).
- New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, and your subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime from Account Settings (Manage Billing). Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- If prices change, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and the new price takes effect at your next renewal.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law;
- share, resell, or provide access to your account to anyone else;
- scrape, crawl, or access the Service with automated tools, or attempt to probe or circumvent its security or access controls;
- copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except where the law permits it despite this restriction;
- interfere with the operation of the Service or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Your content and our content
You own the data you enter into the Service (such as your session logs). You grant us the limited license needed to store and process that data in order to operate the Service. We own the Service itself — its software, design, charts, and content — and grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it while you have an active subscription.
8. Educational disclaimer
The Service teaches strategies that reduce, but do not eliminate, the house edge in blackjack. We make no guarantee of gambling results. Any decision to gamble with real money, and any results of doing so, are entirely your own responsibility. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction and the rules of any casino you visit, and you acknowledge that casinos may restrict or refuse play at their discretion.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its strategy content is free of mistakes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or gambling losses of any kind; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 7–12 survive termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you (for example, by email or a notice in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
